Antarctica is the fourth largest continent, covering more than 13 thousand million square kilometres.Location: in the southern hemisphere, surrounded by the Antarctic Ocean.

Continental relief.

The most important landforms are:
- The Ellsworh Mountains, in which is located the highest peak, Vinson Massif.
- The Antarctic Peninsula.
